L'atelier by APC: Luthier, Violin Maker & Instruments Repair Specialist

The Luthier Repair Specialist position is primarily responsible for managing the repair workshop activities, engage with repair tasks according to schedule and manage inventory of parts, in order to increase revenue generated by this activity and improve customer satisfaction.

- 3 years working experience in the violin repair field
- Desire to learn and self develop
- Ability to take initiatives and work independently
- Solid organization and prioritization skills
- English Communication Skills a plus

REPAIRS & MAINTENANCE:

- Welcome and engage with customers looking to repair an instrument. Make sure to provide professional advices and portrait at all times a professional attitude, to enhance the customer experience and keep the Brand image of L’Atelier at a very high standard vs the competition
- Increase the revenue generated by the repair activities by optimizing repair protocols, and prioritize repair works over other administrative tasks
- Under the supervision of the Luthier, give recommendations on repair description, time to repair and cost estimated. Make sure the customer understands the nature and the extend of the works and is comfortable with the recommendation.
- Provide timely reply by phone, or emails to customer inquiries on repairs
- Maintain the Repair Dashboard on a daily basis to ensure an accurate understanding of the workshop workload
is accessible and accurate at all times,
- Make sure the Repair Dashboard is updated for the Weekly Repair Meeting (WRM). During the meeting, report
any technical difficulties, organize and check the customer priorities to ensure the optimum repair scheduling.

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

- Organize the parts storage to be easily accessible and the stock-count procedure can be efficiently conducted.
- Manage the inventory of repair parts and place orders whenever necessary. Make sure the inventory is properly
stored, labelled and easily accessible so the stock-count procedure can be efficiently conducted.
- Handle the proper storage of instrument boxes during the repair, make sure customer name is properly written
on the box and location is updated in the Repair Dashboard.
- Prepare purchase order “PO” for approval before ordering, make sure the total stock value is within the guideline.

RENTAL MANAGEMENT SUPPORT

- Support rental activities by cleaning, and preparing the instruments to keep the rental inventory ready at all times.
- Prepare the rental sets in advance in a condition that allow for the sets to be immediately proposed to customers.

MARKETING SUPPORT
------------------------------------
- Once a week, provide pictures and text to the Contents Manager to prepare and upload one post on Instagram. Contents must be related to the activities of repairs & maintenance of L’Atelier.
- Supervise contents related to MSP promotional materials.

弦楽器店・工房としてのヒストリーはフランス人で弦楽器職人のOlivier PAOLI オリヴィエ パオリがパリで工房をスタートした1997年に遡ります。日本で音楽に溢れたお店を作りたい！という夢を叶えるために、14年続けていたパリの工房を閉めて2009年に単身来日しました。渋谷で小さな弦楽器工房からスタートし、おかげさまで2019年は日本での会社設立10周年を迎えることができました。「今のお店があるのは、多くのアーティストや音楽家と音楽に関わる方々に支えていただいているから」だと、

概要
弦楽器製作&修理スペシャリストは、主に工房での弦楽器修理や、スケジュールに沿った修理の仕事をこなし、必要なパーツの在庫管理を行います。修理によって生み出される収益を増やし、顧客満足度を向上させる責任があります。

スキル・資格
・ヴァイオリン修理分野における3年以上の実務経験がある方
・自ら進んで学び、技術を発展させていくことができる方
・リーダーシップがとれ、自分自身で考え働くことができる方
・堅実で計画的な働き方と、優先順位付けをして効率的に仕事ができる方
・英語のコミュニケーション能力があれば尚望ましい

修理とメンテナンス

-楽器の修理を検討されているお客様へメンテナンス・修理の提案。職人としてプロフェッショナルなアドバイスができるよう常に努力し、カスタマーエクスペリエンス、顧客満足度を向上させ、競合他社に対してl’atelier by apcのブランドイメージを高い水準に保つ。
-作業効率を良くして、修理のパートの収益を増やすために、他の管理タスクよりも修理作業を優先。
-職人としての専門的な視点から推奨される修理の説明、修理期間や金額のお見積もり。(お客様が楽器の性質や修理の範囲を理解し、推奨される修理項目に納得・理解されていることを必ず確認)
-修理に関してのお問い合わせの電話とメール対応。
-工房の作業分担や状況を正確に把握するために修理管理表を毎日更新・維持。
-毎週の職人ミーティングで、修理管理表の更新の確認。(ミーティング中にもし技術的な問題がある場合は、お客様の優先順位を整理して確認し、修理スケジュールを管理)

在庫管理

-パーツ保管場所に簡単にアクセスできるように整理整頓。
-修理のパーツは必要に応じて注文。(注文前の承認のために注文書”PO”を準備)
-修理中、お客様のケースにラベルをつけ、ストレージ棚に適切に保管。ケースの場所も修理管理表で管理。

レンタル楽器サポート

-レンタル楽器をいつでも貸し出せるように在庫のクリーニングやメンテナンスの補助。
-レンタルセットをお客様にご提供できるよう事前の準備。

マーケティングサポート

-週に1回、コンテンツマネージャーに写真とテキストを提供して、Instagramに投稿。(内容は修理やメンテナンスに関連するもの)
-メンテナンスサポートプラン(修理のサブスクリプションサービス)の販促資料に関連するコンテンツや修理内容の確認。
