Gemini Group is seeking a strategic and proactive Government Relations Manager to enhance our interactions with government stakeholders and guide our policy strategies. This role requires comprehensive management skills, including project oversight, client relationship management, and leading a team dedicated to influencing policy decisions that benefit our clients and align with organizational objectives.
• Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically about complex issues and develop effective engagement strategies.
• Experienced Leader: Proven experience in managing teams and complex stakeholder relationships.
• Background in Public Policy: Strong understanding of public policy, government relations, or government affairs, with a preference for experience within the Japanese government.
• Bilingual Fluency: Proficient in both written and spoken English and Japanese.
• Policy Strategy and Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to engage with government officials and stakeholders. Understand and influence policy developments that affect the company and our clients.
• Project Management: Oversee multiple projects, ensuring objectives are met on time and within budget.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve excellent results.
• Stakeholder Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of political and policy environments to guide strategy development and client advice.
• Educational Background: A degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or a related field is preferred.
