The senior software development engineer is a leader with significant technical, automation, and programming experience throughout the full SDLC. This role leads our stakeholders through large technical, organizational, and SDLC transformations. A successful senior software development engineer has technical depth across the full DevOps and software development spectrum, along with leading and evangelizing transformations and driving innovations.
Your responsibilities would encompass Architecture, SDLC, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, and Security practices when building in market solutions. You will provide exceptional technical guidance to customers (including internal customers such as Sales and Operations) adopting Catalina Media Platform (CMP) services. You will provide best practices on secure foundational cloud implementations, automated provisioning of infrastructure and applications, cloud-ready application architectures, and more. In this role, you will provide prescriptive guidance in ensuring customers receive the best of what CMP can offer and you will ensure that customers have the best experience in migrating, building, modernizing, and maintaining applications in CMP.
■QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS(必須要件)
・Basic knowledge of ML algorithms.
・Minimum of 5 years’ experience as software engineer.
・3+ years’ experience working with enterprise level database.
・3+ years’ programming experience (understand multiple languages: python, Java etc.,).
・3+ years’ experience developing software with either C# or Java. If no experience with either C# or Java, expect to pick up quickly after onboarding on the role.
・Experience with scripting language such as Python/Powershell is strong plus. If no prior experience, expect to pick up quickly after onboarding on the role.
・Japanese: Conversational / English: Professional working proficiency

・Experience working with ETL product such as Infomatica/Talend.
・Experience working with NOSQL.
■WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
・Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve the Catalina Media Platform (CMP) Japan.
・Define and drive regular development of an aggressive technical roadmap to meet the needs of the team, and partner teams. Team with all technical functions in the company ensuring that all organizations are in sync.
・Building and managing enterprise-scale DevOps platforms, including code repositories, automated build and testing tooling, automated deployment tooling, containerization technologies, and general automation of infrastructure, provisioning, and configuration management functions.
・Work with stakeholders to design Cloud based technical architectures, migration approaches, and application optimizations that enable Japan business objectives.
・Mitigate technology risks, participate in design reviews and track issue resolutions. Additionally, engage in technical and schedule trade-off discussions.
・Responsible for designing and implementing and maintaining Japan ETL process for existing daily operations and for new data integration projects to support business needs.
・Partnering with head quarter engineering team to build/maintaining Japan data warehouse experimental platform including capability and data freshness for Japan local team to conduct experiments and quality assurance work.
・Act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders in engineering, sales, and customer organizations to resolve technical deployment obstacles and improve CMP.
・A mix of advanced technology and strategic business acumen as well as a demonstrated ability to engage in senior level technology decision maker discussions related to the business value of CMP services and offerings.
・Works with global teams and with a variety of national and corporate cultures.
・Engage with the head quarter engineering team to build trustworthy relationship.
・Establishes partnerships with peers across geographies to coordinate standard approaches and communications and act as a single team.
・Engage and manage external vendors/outsourcing partners as appropriate to enhance the team capabilities and execution abilities if necessary.
・Establishes partnerships with direct counterparts in other regions to ensure a standardized environment, leverage contract opportunities, and share resources to improve quality and efficiency.
・Bachelor’s Degree in Technology or equivalent
