- 3+ year of engineering experience as a back end developer;
- good analytical skills, problem solving attitude;
- good understanding of OOP, SOLID and modern coding practices;
- good understanding of Web and Client Server communications;
- experience writing unit tests;
- experience preparing technical solution design, decomposition, and estimation;
- experience designing API contracts;
- experience working with microservices architecture approach;
- preferable experience with Front-end development;
- preferable experience working with AWS: AC2, RDS, S3;

NEI’s technology is evolving from the original platform to a robust, highly scalable system built using modern web-platform technologies and connected to a mobile app. We’re transitioning (from PHP) to a microservices environment with automated CI/CD pipelines running on Kubernetes (our apps are running on PHP, Node.js, ReactJS).

We are looking for a proactive experienced person willing to take on the challenge of building new platform functionalities and gradually dividing existing ones into dedicated microservices. Our approach to re-architecture:
- do new features in microservices only;
- use micro frontends to replace old UI
- minimize amount of changes to the old code base

40 hours weekly, normalized

5M - 9M JPY annually depending on experience.
