Summary
Christian Dior G.K. is looking for Merchandising Manager, Men's category (Ready to Wear or Leather goods).
We are seeking a passionate candidate to lead and further develop the Men’s category business in Japan. Someone who is proactive, creative and has a strong understanding of the Japanese market.

Key Qualifications
3 to 5 years relevant experience, preferably in retail industry
Good communication, interpersonal skills
Analytical skill
Proficient in Excel, Power Point
Fluent English and Japanese are must
Confidence in presenting ideas and concepts to others
Action and detail oriented

Understanding of Fashion trends
Responsibility
This position reports to Merchandising Director, Men's.
Responsible of Men's category buying in Paris for all stores
Identify growth opportunities within Men's categories with a 360 approach, collaborating with other functions such as Retail, VM and Marketing.
Investigate and input HQ local market needs and trends to reflect them on product development.
Strategic buying, build seasonal buying by taking in consideration of display and exposure, and managing local retail & marketing activities.
Selection of Japanese assortment in close cooperation with Paris merchandising team
Prepare and analyze necessary data for buying.
Responsible of the inventories and sell-through, follow-up operations such as daily/weekly re-assortment.
Weekly and monthly Reports
Manage the markdown at the end of the season.
Manage the Men's business together with the community in the stores.
Execute meaningful and impactful collection training for stores and other functions.
Coordinate, assist VM team as necessary for new shops and shops’ renewal.
Product feedback from stores (quantitative and qualitative)
