Summary
Christian Dior G.K. is looking for a Planning Manager.
Depending on the candidate's experience, this position can be a Planning Assistant Manager.
The Planning manager’s role is to lead forecast and sales planning processes, ensuring the purchase of the right quantity of products to achieve sales target with maximum sell-through.

Key Qualifications
At least 5 years’ working experience, including 2 years in a similar position
Successful experience of working across different functional areas and levels of organization
Excellent Excel skills and computer skills overall
Experience in fashion or consumer retail is a plus
Fluent English and Japanese
Excellent analytical skills and logical thinking are essential
Very strong communication and interpersonal skills
Team player
Good organization & planning
Curious, proactive
Attention to details
Adaptable
Support other teams in SC dept proactively
Involve other teams’ execution in SC Dept
Visit sites such as Stores and Warehouse frequently to see and understand the real situation on site
Responsibility
Forecasting
Lead monthly forecast process by each category
Prepare in coordination with Merchandising and Central Supply Chain for JP sales forecast for categories in charge to project sales ambitions bottom up and for production to plan product availability
Supervise planners and review sales forecast for other categories
Work closely with Distribution and Logistics to ensure stock allocation and delivery is in line with forecast strategies and Retail plans and actions.
Sales & Business planning
Coordinate Open To Buy preparation with Merchandising, Finance, Retail and top management
Provide quantitative input during buying sessions
Coordinate monthly and annual Best Estimate / Commercial Target process with Merchandising, Finance, Retail and top management
Management
Establish and communicate with KPIs for planning activities
Review the need and propose proper organization structure and workflow in order to meet the company objective & growth
Lead / participate in global and local projects involving Planning
Provide training and development to direct reports / peers
S&OP
Introducing S&OP process into JP
Lead and participate monthly S&OP Mtg (Local & Executive)
Analyze the data and make the plans
Overseas travel is expected (1 to 4 times a year)
