Founded in 2019 by parents to meet the needs of families in Japan as a complement to the existing educational offer, EIFJ, with a capacity of 150 students, now serves a diverse community of students from kindergarten through middle school, including an international nursery. Aspiring to obtain accreditation from the French Ministry of National Education, our institution has been issued a Certificate of Compliance from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, enabling access to Government subsidies, and is also part of the global network of French international schools managed by the Mission Laïque Française, which includes 108 institutions in 32 countries, a network operating within the legal framework of agreements with AEFE, the French Ministry of Education, and the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.

Embracing a proven educational model implemented in accredited French international schools, EIFJ implements the curriculum of the French Ministry of National Education and is a candidate for International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) accreditation. As part of this candidacy and in pursuit of partnerships with the Lycée Français de Tokyo, other institutions, and businesses, we are in the process of aligning our teaching and learning with the IB framework and French Ministry standards, developing and sharing a strong program of international education and rigorous assessment.

EIFJ remains open during holidays, ensuring continuous education in classrooms with a favorable teacher-student ratio that promotes high-quality learning. Our team of certified educators offers a range of programs designed to nurture active, compassionate, and lifelong learners, in a nurturing and dynamic learning environment that supports the growth and development of every student:

- French bilingual stream +Japanese in Kindergarten, Elementary, & Middle School
- English stream +Japanese/French in Kindergarten, Elementary, & Middle School
- After-School Activities: For ages 3 to 18

Since 2019, EIFJ has been offering internship opportunities that allow interns to observe classes, experience a school in full operation, receive structured training under the supervision of experienced teachers and the school leadership, experience as well internships in HR, marketing, finance sectors. Each year, the high number of requests for internship agreements from schools and companies confirms the quality and seriousness of the support we provide. Where applicable, a Japanese internship contract may be signed between the school and the intern, and the internship, fully legal in Japan, is duly declared to the relevant supervisory authorities.

EIFJ also welcomes interns from a wide range of academic backgrounds, including English, French, Japanese, German, Spanish, communication, human resources, marketing, IT, foreign languages, history, and related fields.

Internship schedules and assignments are clearly defined in the agreement, and any modification is subject to mutual consent between the intern and the school. While EIFJ is currently unable to offer financial compensation, successful internships may lead to future recruitment opportunities, contributing to the development of a long-term talent pool.

Internships may last from two to several months.

Between 2019 and 2026, EIFJ welcomed interns from diverse institutions, some of whom chose to return for additional internships and later applied for permanent positions within the school.

2019年以降、EIFJでは、授業の見学や学校運営の実態を体験し、経験豊富な教員および学校運営チームの指導のもとで体系的な研修を受けられるインターンシップの機会を提供してきました。また、教育分野に加え、人事、マーケティング、財務分野におけるインターンシップも経験することが可能です。毎年、多くの学校や企業からインターンシップ協定に関する依頼が寄せられており、当校が提供する支援の質と信頼性の高さを示しています。必要に応じて、学校とインターンの間で日本のインターンシップ契約を締結することができ、これらのインターンシップは日本国内において完全に合法であり、関係する監督機関へ正式に届け出が行われます。

EIFJでは、英語、フランス語、日本語、ドイツ語、スペイン語をはじめ、コミュニケーション、人事、マーケティング、IT、外国語、歴史など、幅広い専門分野を学ぶ学生のインターンシップも受け入れています。

インターンシップの期間や担当業務は契約書に明確に定められており、内容の変更はインターンと学校双方の合意のもとで行われます。現在、EIFJではインターンへの金銭的報酬は提供しておりませんが、成果のあるインターンシップは将来的な採用につながる可能性があり、長期的な人材育成の一環と位置づけています。

インターンシップの期間は、2か月から数か月間を想定しています。

2019年から2026年にかけて、EIFJはさまざまな教育機関からのインターンを受け入れてきており、その中には再度インターンとして参加した後、当校の正規採用に応募した方もいます。

Depuis 2019, l’EIFJ propose des stages permettant aux stagiaires d’observer les cours, de découvrir le fonctionnement complet d’un établissement scolaire et de bénéficier d’une formation structurée sous la supervision d’enseignants expérimentés et de l’équipe de direction. Des stages sont également proposés dans les domaines des ressources humaines, du marketing et de la finance. Chaque année, le nombre élevé de demandes de conventions de stage émanant d’établissements et d’entreprises confirme la qualité et le sérieux de l’accompagnement proposé. Le cas échéant, une convention de stage de droit japonais peut être signée entre l’école et le stagiaire ; ces stages, parfaitement légaux au Japon, sont dûment déclarés auprès des autorités de tutelle compétentes.

L’EIFJ accueille par ailleurs des stagiaires issus de parcours académiques variés : anglais, français, japonais, allemand, espagnol, communication, ressources humaines, marketing, informatique, langues étrangères, histoire et disciplines connexes.

Les horaires et missions des stages sont clairement définis dans la convention, et toute modification fait l’objet d’un accord préalable entre le stagiaire et l’établissement. Bien que l’EIFJ ne soit pas en mesure de proposer une gratification à ce jour, les stages réussis peuvent déboucher sur des opportunités de recrutement ultérieures, contribuant ainsi à la constitution d’un vivier de talents sur le long terme.

La durée des stages peut aller de deux mois à plusieurs mois.

Entre 2019 et 2026, l’EIFJ a accueilli des stagiaires issus de diverses institutions, dont certains ont choisi de revenir pour effectuer de nouveaux stages avant de candidater à des postes permanents au sein de l’établissement.

As a candidate for International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme* (PYP) accreditation, we align with the IB mission, working alongside schools, governments, and international organizations to develop challenging programs of international education and rigorous assessment.
