Japanese Maisons include CELINE, LOEWE, GIVENCHY, KENZO, Marc Jacobs and RIMOWA.

Key Qualifications

● Experience: Over 5 years of senior finance or accounting leadership role at foreign subsidiary company (Retail industry experience is plus)
● Language: Native Japanese, Fluency in English
● Skills and Personality
- Knowledge and experience in accounting operations under IFRS, JGAAP.
- Experience in SAP implementation project preferrable.
- Manage internal/external audit.
- Process oriented.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities, including the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a high-performing team.
- Planning skill / Priority setting.
- Balanced view between detail and dynamic.
- Good communication and interpersonal skill with ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibility

Mission Statement:
● Lead and manage the finance and accounting teams covering 6 Maisons, providing strategic direction, guidance, and support.
● Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal standards, and best practices.
● Drive continuous improvement in financial operations through process enhancements, automation initiatives, and efficiency gains.
● Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting at both Maison-level and consolidated levels to facilitate decision-making by senior management.

Key Responsibilities:
● Plan and control closing procedures (monthly/quarterly/yearly).
● Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions, ensuring timely and accurate transaction processing.
● Manage and prepare tax return.
● Provide management and analytical reports to head quarter, local management, and other functions.
● Plan and control daily/monthly/yearly cash operation and review cash forecast.
● Contribute to Budget and Forecast process in coordination with other Maisons of FG Japan.
● Supervise credit management including collection, accounts receivable control, customers and /or business partners investigations.
● Review of legal documents which affect to finance and accounting conditions.
● Implement appropriate procedure to maintain internal control system.
● Oversee and contribute to change management and process improvements focusing on Finance processes and systems, such as ERP, upstream integration, process automation.
● Coordinate and facilitate external audits, serving as the primary contact for auditors and overseeing audit processes to ensure accurate and timely completion.
● Lead and develop a team across the functions, provide guidance and mentorship, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Education

University Degrees in Economics/Finance/Business major, CPA preferable
