The position
It’s an exciting time to join LOEWE as we go through a period of rapid growth. Celebrities Manager will oversee all LOEWE-celebrity actions. You will part of an exciting PR & Communications team, which sits within the Marketing & Communications department of LOEWE Japan. You will have 1 full-time reporting line. This role will report to Senior PR & Celebrities Manager.
We are looking for a candidate who has/is
• 7+ years of working experience, preferably in luxury fashion or luxury brand event production
• Business fluent in English, excellent communications in written & spoken Japanese
• Strong sense of responsibility and professionalism
• Communicate with clarity, precision, and efficiency
• Open to new ideas, tasks & approaches
• Highly organized. Excellent attention to details
• Love for events & acute interest in talent industry
• Able to perform in a high-pressure/time-sensitive environment
• Grit: goal-oriented, purpose-driven, and passionate
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft suite, especially Excel & Powerpoints
Key responsibilities
Celebrity management
• Have a clear understanding of the brand’s vision and strategy to cast & craft celebrity actions that fit the brand.
• Propose, pitch & negotiate for an optimal casting for each brand moment, including but not limited to: fashion shows, campaign shooting, event/popup attendances and other forms of engagement/collaborations with celebrity.
• Provide a first-class treatment & care for celebrities and VIPs.
• Maintain a wide range of network within the celebrity & fashion industry as the face of LOEWE. Foster an amicable and productive relationship with them.
• Look for upcoming stars, unexpected collaborations and disruptive ideas that fit the brand’s vision and excite the local market. Cease the moments through agility, creativity & thoughtful planning.
Other areas
• Have a strong sense of budget around casting. Be able to negotiate where necessary.
• Draft contracts & deliverables for events & celebrity endorsements.
• Be able to take calculated risks to execute a bold and unprecedented approach to differentiate LOEWE from competitors. Challenge luxury industry status quo and welcome new creative ideas to create buzz.
Diploma or equivalent
