Minimum qualifications
1. Minimum 8+ years of experience as a Solution Architect.
2. Ability to understand engineering and manufacturing processes and design PLM solutions.
3. Functional knowledge of engineering or manufacturing business processes.
4. Experience with global PLM tools such as Teamcenter or 3DExperience.
5. Experience in PLM consulting and implementation projects.
6. Basic knowledge of SDLC processes such as Agile or Waterfall.
Languages
- Japanese: Fluent level

Nice to have skills
1. Experience in digital engineering or manufacturing consulting.
2. Experience with PLM customization.
3. Experience working in a global environment with multiple stakeholders across various geographies.
4. Experience in defining and implementing digital transformation.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled PLM Solution Architect to join our team and support the digital transformation of our customer’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system. This role is client-facing and will require the ability to understand and document customer requirements, provide technical solutions, and work closely with both local and global teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping our customers modernize their systems and processes with minimal customization, ensuring smooth implementation of next-generation PLM solutions.
About the Department
We provide end-to-end IT and IoT solutions to support our customers' digital transformation in engineering and manufacturing.
About the Project
The client is working to comply with European security regulations by integrating Software Bill of Materials (BOM), design changes, and ECU program files from various systems into an Integrated BOM system. TCS will initially support the requirement definition phase and then implement the solution, ensuring that SW BOM management and data transfer from different systems are successfully integrated into the new system.

Responsibilities
1. Understand and document functional and technical requirements as a PLM Solution Architect.
2. Collaborate closely with the customer to define a high-level system view and roadmap for digital transformation.
3. Provide technical solutions to meet business requirements.
4. Develop high-level and low-level designs and Proofs of Concept (PoC).
5. Collaborate with customers and local and global teams to ensure clear communication.
6. Support the development team during implementation.

Monthly salary: Under our corporate regulations, amount will be decided in consideration of candidates’ experiences and abilities.
Discretionary labor allowance: 60,000 JPY - 80,000 JPY
