We are a chemical trading company providing general-purpose petrochemical products, functional chemicals and specialty chemicals as well as import/export, storage and delivery services. We also handle trading of Shell branded products as the sole distributor of Shell Chemicals in Japan. Integrating our specialized expertise and network that we have cultivated through our global business and Uyeno Group’s total distribution system has enabled us to enhance our value chain as a Total Chemicals Distribution Company.

We, as a member in chemical selling section of UYENO Group, operate globally by handling high expertise of chemical products and wide network covering all over the world, which achieves growing as the flagship company of all UYENO Group companies.

■Your responsibility:
Assigned in sales department, you will engage in commercial and operation of chemical products. Of importance is to make appropriate proposals by well-communication in addition to make/keep trust relationship, to find customers’ potential needs.
You are required to cover various knowledge of chemical product and industry. BUT don't worry because the company provides good opportunities to learn such things from a scratch!

You will engage in things for example…
-deal with total distribution. (supply, sales storage and delivery)
-communication with customers for trust building and negotiation in mainly Japanese.
-have meetings regarding products and market in mainly English.
-management of supply chain.
-make a strategy toward future development.

You are required to cover various knowledge of chemical product and industry. BUT don't worry because the company provides you with good learning opportunities from a scratch!

□仕事内容
シェルグループをはじめとした海外化学メーカーから化学品を仕入れ、国内外のお客様に販売する営業活動を担当いただきます。
現在取引しているお客様のニーズや、求める商品の内容等をヒアリングしながら、その内容に基づき、数ある原料の中から適切なものを提案していきます。多種多様な製品知識や業界への知識が必要な仕事ですが、入社後にしっかりと教えていきますので、安心して始めて頂けます。
サプライヤーとは英語でのやり取りが中心となります。価格交渉や商品問い合わせ、市場の情報交換などのミーティングを定期的に行っており、各国のビジネスやカルチャーを感じながら仕事ができるのが面白いです。
現在はコロナ禍で制限がありますが、グローバル規模でビジネスをしますので、国内外への出張があります。

09：00～17：30 , including 1hour of break
Flextime working system is available.

- Overtime work and Commuting allowance are paid in addition to the base salary.
- Salary increases in April.
- Bonus is paid twice a year -June and December.
