About this role
Join our Automotive team as a System Integration Engineer, driving the future of mobility through embedded software development for Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs). You will work at the intersection of hardware and software, integrating complex automotive systems for a leading global OEM. This role offers hands-on exposure to next-generation technologies including ECU virtualization, centralized compute platforms, and cross-functional collaboration with international teams.

Key Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Experience in system integration, testing, and commissioning of complex hardware-software systems
Knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN/CAN-FD, SOME/IP, DoIP, DoCAN, MQTT, HTTP, DDS, and IPC (MQ, Socket, Data Sharing)
Familiarity with embedded systems, hardware components, and software tools used in system integration, which may include:
  - Languages: C, C++, Python
  - OS / Middleware: Linux, QNX, AUTOSAR
  - Controllers: Renesas R-Car, NXP S32G, MCUs
  - Toolchains: GCC, Multi, Vector DaVinci, EB tresos
  - Tools: Docker, Git, JIRA, GTest, Polyspace, Cantata++, CANoe
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and clients
Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese

Responsibility

・Coordinate and integrate hardware and software components for complex automotive systems, ensuring seamless operation across subsystems
・Collaborate with hardware engineers, software developers, QA teams, and customers to deliver successful system integration
・Perform system integration testing, troubleshoot technical issues, and document integration results
・Support system deployment and commissioning at customer sites, including technical support and issue resolution
・Develop and maintain integration documentation, validation plans, and technical reports
・Ensure compliance with automotive standards including AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, and ASPICE
・Manage multiple integration activities while maintaining project schedules and quality objectives
・Communicate with customers to understand technical requirements and deliver effective integration solutions
・Support system validation activities, including performance testing and compliance verification

Compensation, Bonus and Other Benefits

Annual Salary
Salary is determined based on individual experience and ability, in accordance with company policy (the original listing does not specify a fixed monthly base amount; compensation is negotiated individually).
Discretionary Labor Allowance (if applicable): ¥60,000–¥80,000/month (≈ ¥720,000–¥960,000/year), paid under the specialized-work discretionary labor system.
Salary Increases: Available, based on annual performance review.
Bonus: Provided, based on company and individual performance (specific amount not fixed; determined per company policy).
