Q. What career experiences have you had inside and outside the company? What is your current MISSION?
I joined Universal Studios Japan because it offers the opportunity to develop services that deliver the highest level of entertainment experiences to users. I was also attracted to the culturally diverse environment. The primary responsibility of my team is to improve the online web ticket purchasing experience for Universal Studios Japan by making it clearer and more user-friendly for our guests. I serve as the product owner for the system, responsible for development. My main MISSION is to redesign and enhance the interface (usability) and functionality of the online ticketing system, as well as to lead strategic planning, design, and development. Improving the website that our guests use for making reservations will help them to plan their visit to the park more smoothly.

Q. What VALUE have you embodied in your current role?
Drive Results
Our team has shifted to an agile development approach. With this directional change, we identify essential features for our online ticket reservation platform and streamline the large volume of initial features to focus on the most important ones. This approach enables us to deliver feature updates in shorter cycles while also initiating internal user accessibility testing (user test) at an early stage. We continue to improve usability based on feedback and released updates (features updated).

Q. What VISION do you strive for in USJ LLC?
Our VISION is to innovate the interface (usability) and functionality of the web ticket store and deliver a seamless and exciting experience for our guests from before their visit through after their visit. Our team is committed to building a user-friendly interface with the latest technology regardless of the limitations, striving to make the user experience of the new online reservation service more intuitive, dynamic and unforgettable. I am thrilled with this valuable opportunity to engage in developing such a core system as well as to improve my skills.
