Minimum qualifications
• Experience as a Business Process Consultant in New Product Development, with knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
• At least one end-to-end implementation or transformation experience in a PLM product for a manufacturing or high-tech/electronics customer in Japan.
• Experience running customer workshops.
• Deep understanding of large-scale enterprise application deployment methodologies and experience leading teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Ability to write clear, understandable Requirements, Specification documents, and Use Cases.
• Knowledge of BPML.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong relationship-building skills with internal teams and external customers. Must be an effective communicator in challenging customer situations.

Nice to have skills
• Proven track record in leading large enterprise PLM software deployments as an architect or domain expert.
• Knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter PLM, Dassault Systems 3DExperience, or PTC Windchill.
• Experience in one or more of the following industries: Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial Machinery/Heavy Engineering, High-Tech, and Electronics.
• Strong planning, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Position Overview
The PLM Functional Consultant role involves managing end-to-end Teamcenter implementation projects for semiconductor manufacturing clients. The role requires effective communication, project management, and a thorough understanding of PLM systems.

About the Department
We provide end-to-end PLM and Digital Thread Services.

Explain the Project
This project involves the greenfield implementation of Teamcenter Software Lifecycle Management to support the customer's semiconductor manufacturing process. The customer aims to achieve high efficiency and transparency through this implementation.

Advantages of the Position for Applicants
This is a client-facing role where you will manage the entire project and customer communication. You will serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for this engagement and represent TCS to the customer. Experience working with Japanese customers is essential for accelerating discussions, coordination, and team management.

Responsibilities
• Facilitate workshops, develop solutions, and build consensus across stakeholders to ensure timely and successful delivery of technology aligned with business goals.
• Perform solution analysis, develop customer-facing proposals, and contribute to deal closures.
• Lead or participate in delivering Proof of Concept engagements at key prospects.
• Provide input to the implementation team regarding methodology and tools.
• Coach and mentor team members as needed.
• Supervise and manage technical teams located onsite or offshore.
• Professionally interact with customers and internal teams.
• Design and develop complex Digital Transformation projects for new and existing customers of TCS Japan.
• Support the sales process by defining software and services requirements for project delivery and assisting in deal closures.
• Conduct customer demonstrations, articulate functional requirements, and enable timely customer sign-offs.

Salary
Monthly salary: Under our corporate regulations, amount will be decided in consideration of candidates’ experiences and abilities.
Discretionary labor allowance: 60,000 JPY - 80,000 JPY
Overtime work allowance: By ordinary (Paid according to overtime working hours)
