Key Qualifications

Minimum qualifications
1. Solid understanding and experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), particularly with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
2. Proven experience in managing project risks and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
3. Experience working within engineering or manufacturing domains.
4. Familiarity with basic engineering, manufacturing, and PLM terminology.

Languages
- Japanese: Fluent level
- English: Business level

Nice to have skills
1. Experience in digital engineering or manufacturing consulting.
2. Hands-on experience with PLM products such as Teamcenter, Windchill, Enovia, etc.
3. Basic programming skills.
4. Experience working in a global environment with multiple stakeholders across different regions.
5. Experience in digital transformation project implementation.

Responsibility

Position Overview
The PLM Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of digital transformation projects within engineering and manufacturing environments, specifically focusing on Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems. The role requires strong project management skills, a deep understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes, and the ability to manage client-facing engagements effectively.

About the Department
We provide comprehensive IT and IoT solutions to support customers in their engineering and manufacturing digital transformation efforts.

About the Project
This project focuses on the digital transformation of the customer’s PLM system. The customer is transitioning from a legacy system to a next-generation PLM solution. The main objective is to meet most engineering process requirements through configuration of the PLM product, while minimizing the need for customization.

Responsibilities
1. Manage various stakeholders and establish clear communication channels
2. Define Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and track the progress of implementation and delivery
3. Manage project risks, issues, and action items
4. Own project delivery and quality metrics, and establish processes for delivery and quality management
5. Demonstrate a willingness to learn new technologies and industry trends
6. Provide weekly project status reports to the customer and internal management
7. Manage project efforts and cost tracking

Compensation and Benefits

Employment status
Regular Employee
Manager/Supervisor classification: Nil (Classifiable depending on the case)
Deemed working hours per day: 8hrs

Salary
Monthly salary: Under our corporate regulations, amount will be decided in consideration of candidates’ experiences and abilities.
Discretionary labor allowance: 60,000 JPY - 80,000 JPY
Overtime work allowance: By ordinary (Paid according to overtime working hours)

Premium: Yes

9:00 - 18:00
(Actual working hrs: 8hrs /Flex time system/ Core time: 10:00 - 16:00)
