Minimum qualifications
1. Strong understanding and experience with the Software Development Life Cycle, particularly Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
2. Experience managing project risks and multiple stakeholders.
3. Experience in the engineering or manufacturing domain.
4. Basic understanding of engineering, manufacturing, and PLM terminology.

Languages
- Japanese: Fluent level
- English: Business level

Nice to have skills
1. Experience in digital engineering or manufacturing consulting.
2. Familiarity with PLM products such as Teamcenter, Windchill, Enovia, etc.
3. Basic programming skills.
4. Experience working in a global environment with stakeholders across multiple regions.
5. Experience in implementing digital transformation projects.

Position Overview
We are seeking a PLM Project Manager to lead digital transformation initiatives within the engineering and manufacturing domains. This role will be responsible for managing the complete implementation process of a next-generation PLM system, overseeing stakeholder communication, risk management, and quality control, while ensuring minimal customization to meet engineering needs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of project management, engineering processes, and PLM systems, as well as experience working in a global environment.

Our department focuses on delivering end-to-end IT and IoT solutions for customers’ engineering and manufacturing digital transformation needs.

About the Project
The customer has embarked on a digital transformation journey and is seeking to implement a greenfield solution of Teamcenter Software Lifecycle Management to optimize semiconductor manufacturing processes. The goal of this implementation is to achieve higher efficiency and greater transparency throughout the process. As part of this project, the Solution Architect will collaborate with various stakeholders to understand their requirements, current business processes, and work with the global PLM team to design an effective solution.

Advantages of the position
This is a client-facing role, responsible for managing the complete digital transformation implementation project. The position involves understanding customer expectations, defining the project roadmap and key milestones, and developing detailed project plans, WBS (Work Breakdown Structures), trackers, and other necessary artifacts. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain deep insights into the semiconductor manufacturing process, lead its integration into PLM, coordinate with multiple stakeholders (both internal and external), and drive the team towards success.

Responsibilities
1. Manage various stakeholders and establish clear communication.
2. Define the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and track the progress of implementation and delivery.
3. Manage project risks, issues, and action items.
4. Take ownership of project delivery and quality metrics, and define processes for delivery and quality management.
5. Be willing to learn new technologies and trends.
6. Provide weekly project status reports to the customer and internal management.
7. Manage project efforts and costs.

Salary
Monthly salary: Under our corporate regulations, amount will be decided in consideration of candidates’ experiences and abilities.
Discretionary labor allowance: 60,000 JPY - 80,000 JPY
Overtime work allowance: By ordinary (Paid according to overtime working hours)
