We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Public Policy Analyst to join our team at Gemini Group. As a Public Policy Analyst, you will play a crucial role in back-office research, summarizing policy documents, drafting briefs, and providing essential support for marketing, sales, and client deliverables. This position also involves translation work, assembling presentations, and collaborating with team members and partners.

Key Qualifications

• Adaptable: Ability to adapt to evolving project needs and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Self-Starter: Proactive in taking initiative and independently driving tasks to completion.

• Organized: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing complex information.

• Bilingual Fluency: Proficient in both written and spoken English and Japanese.

• Interest in Japan Politics and Public Policy: A genuine interest and understanding of Japanese politics and public policy issues.

• Previous Work Experience: Experience in public affairs, government relations, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibility

• Back Office Research: Conduct thorough research on policy issues, legislation, and political developments relevant to our clients and projects.

• Document Summarization: Summarize complex policy documents into concise briefs for internal use and client understanding.

• Marketing and Sales Support: Assist in research and analysis for marketing initiatives, sales proposals, and client deliverables.

• Translation Work: Utilize bilingual fluency to translate documents and communications as needed.

• Presentation Development: Compile information and create presentations and deliverables for both internal and external use.

• Coordination: Collaborate effectively with other team members, clients, and partners to ensure seamless project execution.

Education

• Education: A degree in a related field is preferred.
