About this position
The Outsourcing service line at Forvis Mazars in Japan is organized into specialized teams for service
delivery (across a number of accounting, payroll, treasury and corporate secretarial delivery
teams). In addition, there is a cross-functional team focusing on business development,
onboarding, automation, quality and risk management which supports these delivery teams.
The candidate is expected to join this cross-functional team to lead the onboarding of new
Clients, working with the delivery teams and reporting to Partners.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional, who is client and
process focused, to transition to a broader compliance and consultative role supporting
international companies. The candidate will also gain insight and experience into how to
manage a fast-growing, entrepreneurial service line.
As a key member of the management team, your role is pivotal to client experience, technical
support, and our team’s success. You will lead the implementation and onboarding of new
international clients across our accounting, tax compliance, payroll, treasury and corporate
secretarial teams.

・Good understanding of Japan compliance requirements (accounting, tax compliance, payroll, treasury and corporate aspects)
NICE TO HAVE
・Bachelor of Accountancy and/or equivalent professional qualification.
・Preferably from a professional services firm in an Accounting / Outsourcing / Client Accounting / Audit environment
・At least 5 years’ experience in project management and / or in market entry consulting
・Strong technical accounting knowledge
・Participate in new Client prospect meetings and support Partners with contract finalization.
・Initiate and lead the onboarding process for contracted services in conjunction with the delivery teams.
・Manage the ongoing and upcoming onboarding projects with regular reporting to the Partners.
・Create the initial operating procedures for each new Client with hand off to the delivery teams after completion of onboarding.
・Work closely with our Automation and Innovation team to implement the global Signals platform and local tools and solutions for new Clients.
・Suggest and contribute to the development of new processes and initiatives to enhance the Clients’ experience and the delivery of services.
・Collaborate with the APAC Outsourcing Coordination Team to implement projects and standardization initiatives across the region.
・Participate in other local, regional and global ad-hoc projects
