Education:
・Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are highly desirable.
Experience:
・Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, audit, or financial consulting.
・Proven track record as a Controller, CFO, or senior consultant in an international context.
・Experience working with Japanese companies and understanding of Japanese business culture.
Skills:
・Expertise in identifying new business opportunities, understanding industry trends, and positioning the firm’s services effectively within the market.
・Proficient in international accounting standards and compliance regulations.
・Strong professional network and the ability to leverage connections to generate business leads and partnerships.

Forvis Mazars is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with an entrepreneurial spirit to build and grow its outbound services offering to Japanese companies which is a new business line within its Accounting and Outsourcing service line.
This role involves providing comprehensive advisory and coordination services, focusing on global compliance and financial reporting to the head office stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting or audit, experience in a senior financial role, and be fluent in both Japanese and English.
Advisory Services:
・Provide expert advice on international accounting standards and practices.
・Assist Japanese companies with their investments and projects overseas.
Coordination:
・Coordinate with internal and external accounting teams located overseas to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
・Manage communication between the local Finance team and overseas accounting functions.
・Ensure the timely completion of accounting and tax filing requirements in various countries.
Compliance and Reporting:
・Monitor and ensure adherence to global compliance standards.
・Assist with implementing and maintaining robust internal controls and governance frameworks.
・Support the Group consolidation process as required.
