-The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker who is self-motivated, detail oriented, collaborative, and highly organized.
The Fashion Director is a member of the Global Fashion Network and responsible for creating and advising on fashion content across the brand and its platforms, including print, digital, video and social. They also lend their fashion expertise to e-commerce projects and events. This individual manages a team of editors and stylists responsible for creating the brand’s fashion coverage and executing high-level content consistent with the brand’s point of view. They work closely with the GFN Lead and Deputy on the development and coordination of global fashion stories as well as the brand Editorial Lead on creating exceptional local content.
-Working closely with the GFN, brand’s Editorial Lead and top editorial teams, they are responsible for creating memorable fashion editorial across all platforms.
-Styling of shoots as needed
-Representing the brand within the worlds of fashion, entertainment, culture
-Forging top-level, productive relationships with the fashion community (fashion companies, stylists, personalities, photographers).
-Responsible for managing a smooth-running and efficient team that covers the market and generates innovative fashion content.
-Collaborating within the Global Fashion Network on editorial and special projects as needed.
-Working closely with the Editorial Lead on relevant brand initiatives.
-Serving as a member of the brand’s top editorial team, charged with contributing coverage ideas in fashion and the wider world and collaborating with business leaders to build the brand’s culture and create new opportunities.
