CONTEXT
We are supporting a Japanese bespoke luxury travel company based in Tokyo (Shibuya), founded in 2017, around fifty people. It designs trips across Japan for affluent international travellers, blending traditional culture, gastronomy and adventure, from planning to post-trip follow-up.
This role is open to newcomers: language is what matters. Native German, native or equivalent English, and Japanese good enough to work with every day.

PRACTICAL DETAILS
• Permanent full-time contract (正社員)
• ¥4.5M to ¥6M per year
• Tokyo, Shibuya
• Process run end to end by Abbeal Japan

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• Based in Japan, or ready to relocate to Japan
• Native German
• Native or equivalent English
• Business Japanese (professional communication)
• Newcomers and recent graduates welcome
• Nice to have: tourism or hospitality, luxury inbound, MICE, agency network, work or life experience in Germany

THE ROLE
• Work directly with German travel agencies and luxury partners
• Build relationships with overseas partners
• Write itinerary proposals and quotes
• Work with internal operations teams
• Handle client feedback and improve the service
• Prepare expansion to other European markets
• Occasional business trips
