Candidate Profile
- Minimum of five years of experience in project management, consulting or similar roles.
- High level of proficiency in both Japanese and English; both written and spoken
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Technical Skills and Professional Knowledge
- Strong expertise in delivery projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in workforce management software, scheduling tools and data analysis platforms (e.g., Excel, Microsoft – Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret dynamic global environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate and influence different teams and functions
Our Market Strategy Project Manager is responsible for supporting all key business projects across our main channels - Retail, Wholesale and E-Commerce. This role involves managing multiple strategic and operational projects simultaneously with a goal to drive business growth and ensuring alignment across all departments. Main key responsibility is supporting the commercial strategy, facilitating and aligning with global strategies (HQ Italy) whilst contributing to business transformation efforts.
- Function as a "right hand" to leadership—managing daily operations, scheduling, follow-ups, deadline tracking, meeting setups and executive communications independently.
-Develop, track and update comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets and milestones from start to finish.
- Serve as a central point of communication, ensuring cross-departmental alignment and timely project execution.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and performance reports using Excel and PowerPoint, drawing insights from business data and analytics.
- Identify potential risks, propose mitigation strategies and ensure deadlines are met.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives such as business development, organizational restructuring, commercial strategy revision and M&A activities.
- Coordinate commercial events (e.g., sales exhibitions, key Essilor Luxottica partner events, etc.), acting as a liaison with Italian HQ when required.
- Partner with brand/product teams and serve as the key point of contact for implementing HQ-led strategies, including digital transformation efforts.
- Provide high-level support to management on ad hoc projects including presentation preparation, coordination with business planning and data analysis teams.
