スキル・資格

■Necessary skills/Qualifications
• A minimum of five years of experience working with talent on management, producing, PR and/or branding
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Basic level English ability (reading and writing: sufficient for communication with Condé Nast’s Head Office by email)
• English ability (reasoning and speaking)

■Preferred skills/Qualifications
Work experience in the marketing department and/or the PR communication department of a fashion brand
• PR work experience as a press officer, etc.
• Talent management experience at a talent or entertainment office
• Talent casting experience at a media organization, event creation company, etc.

業務内容

■Job Summary
The successful candidate will be engaged in marketing activities related to KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders: celebrities, talents, and influencers) as a Marketing Executive at publishing company Condé Nast Japan, which operates top media brands including VOGUE, GQ, WIRED, etc.
The newly established Talent Team combines the twin roles of talent casting that leverages the unparalleled brand power of the VOGUE, GQ and WIRED media brands as its main strength, and scouting, or discovering, new talent.
The Talent Team works in cooperation with the Sales Department, Brand Marketing Team, Event Production Team and Editorial Team.
In addition, this team performs management and renewal of data on KOLs.
Talent Team operates as a casting agency and works to achieve monetization, including by serving in an advisory capacity to clients with regard to KOLs, event casting, etc., while making use of Condé Nast’s record as a brand ambassador and SNS performance data.
This position is brand new and is expected to play an important role in future KOL marketing.

• Building and maintaining relationships with the KOLs (celebrities, talents, and influencers) related to media brands owned by Condé Nast
• KOL casting (appearance negotiation) for events, etc., carried out by media brands owned by Condé Nast
• Cooperating with Japanese Talent agencies, Music labels and PR companies.
• KOL management: Collecting information on the activities of KOLs and performing input, updating and management of KOL data (including basic information on talents, brand contract information including on ambassadors, past event achievement information) at all times
• General branding activities employing KOLs and brand control
• Cooperating with Sales Department and Strategy Department for the client proposal.
• Project management: Participating in projects using KOLs
• Signing contracts with influencers
• Brand management: Selecting and proposing KOLs as a means of transmitting Condé Nast’s brand messages correctly, and gathering feedback on Condé Nast’s brands and communicating this within the company
• Business planning: Goal setting and budget formulation in businesses utilizing KOLs, and planning a KOL marketing strategy in line with Condé Nast’s business objectives
• Content planning: Based on market and customer surveys, planning and producing contents utilizing KOLs who stimulate audience and customer interest
• Accepting requests from clients, engaging in selection of client ambassadors and event casting, and making proposals that contribute to client branding.
• KOL marketing and development: Keeping a constant eye on trends in social media and social tools, and considering how to distribute effective information from KOLs
• Supervise a team of two, effectively managing workload distribution and optimizing team bandwidth to meet priorities and deadlines.
