Summary

Summary
We are a fast-growing startup founded in November 2024 as a 100% subsidiary of Japanese Tier1 Automotive Supplier Astemo, specializing on the software and cloud service side, with the goal of supporting global automotive manufacturers’ transition to Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV) and enabling new mobility services.

Our core offerings focus on digital development environments leveraging cloud technologies, such as digital twins and artificial intelligence. Through the evolution of cyber technologies—including IoV, SDV, cloud, and AI—we aim to redefine the work of OEMs and suppliers, as well as end-user mobility itself, ultimately providing freedom beyond what has ever been imagined.

To realize this mission, we seek colleagues capable of gathering and disseminating global insights, proposing unprecedented value, identifying future technologies, and translating them into executable action plans grounded in advanced technology. Simultaneously, we are working on selectively automating parts of our research process with the aim to reduce the cost of research, which we believe will lead to an explosive growth in society's need for research.

Key Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

At least three years of experience (or equivalent to graduate-level research) identifying and solving
problems in a business, startup, research institution, or university laboratory.
Relevant fields include psychology, sociology, transportation, human–machine interfaces, robotics,
autonomous driving, computation, and AI.
Ability to conduct research, gather information, and discuss both ideal concepts and real-world
constraints in Japanese and English.

Preferred Skills & Experience
Creative thinking combined with logical communication skills.
Cross-disciplinary knowledge or experience beyond one’s core specialization.
Experience or networks in the automotive, mobility, or software industries.
Ability to understand the essence of problems, combine and create new ideas, and visualize problems
and solutions clearly and appealingly using various media.
Broad interest in systems, history, software, electronics, and mechanics, and the ability to apply such
knowledge effectively.
Experience communicating with people through art, music, performance, or other expressive media.
Experience with diverse modes of mobility such as cars, motorcycles, bicycles, aircraft, winter sports,
surfing, or wheelchairs.
Experience researching or writing patents and academic papers in Japanese and/or English.

Propose and realize advanced technologies aligned with our mission to transform mobility.
Define, plan, execute, and transfer the outcomes of cutting-edge technology projects.
Investigate, analyze, forecast, and formulate hypotheses around technical and societal challenges.
Develop and refine technologies using theory, simulations, prototypes, and documentation, and pass
knowledge to others.
Build and expand internal and external research networks.
Establish new research styles through small, elite teams leveraging AI/IT and external collaborators.
Provide deep insights and strategic advice on technology trends to executives and stakeholders.
