Summary

The Systems Analyst – Resorts Operation Security & Asset will act the Business Systems Analyst and project teams in delivering and supporting technology solutions that enable resort operations security, asset tracking, and workforce safety systems. This role is designed for an early-career professional who will gain hands-on experience in physical and digital security systems, asset management platforms, and related operational technologies.

The Systems Analyst will be entrusted with small t-shirt size projects and enhancements to act as Project Manager/Analyst, while supporting larger initiatives through requirements gathering, testing, documentation, and system support. He/she will be given opportunity to manage bigger more complex programs to assist Product Owners to ensure requirements and processes are captured and overall coordination with business stakeholders are smooth. The position requires a strong interest in operational security technology and asset lifecycle management in a complex resort environment.

◆ Technical Skills

・ Basic knowledge of security operations technology (e.g., access control, surveillance, RFID systems) and their integration within resort or venue environments.

・Familiarity with asset management platforms and system integrations, including experience coordinating between infrastructure, application, and business process layers.

・Exposure to reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for performance monitoring and operational dashboards.

・Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic testing frameworks for delivery governance and release readiness tracking.

・Understanding of networking, device connectivity, and IoT concepts relevant to digital guest and operations technology.

・Ability to collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and validate integrations, device communication, and data flow stability.

・Awareness of information security practices and coordination points with cybersecurity and compliance teams.

・Experience participating in UAT, hypercare, or operational transition phases, ensuring end-to-end reliability and issue traceability.

・Working understanding of the IT Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ability to support planning, testing, and hypercare phases to ensure end-to-end reliability.

・Ability to collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and vendor teams to troubleshoot and validate integrations, device communication, and data flow stability.

Responsibility

◆ Support for Security & Asset Domains

・Assist in gathering and documenting requirements for security and asset management solutions.

・Support operational systems such as access control, surveillance platforms, RFID asset tracking, and facility monitoring systems.

・ Provide hands-on assistance in analyzing asset lifecycle processes, including acquisition, tracking, maintenance, and disposal.

◆ Project & Delivery Assistance

・Take responsibility for small to mid-scope projects (e.g., minor enhancements, reporting requests, configuration updates, EOL and/or workstreams that are expected to be manageable by this grade level).

・Support Business Systems Analysts in managing larger-scale security and asset technology initiatives.

・Participate in solution evaluations and vendor discussions for security and asset platforms

◆ Testing & Documentation

・Develop and execute test cases for small enhancements and integrations.

・Assist in user acceptance testing and coordinate feedback resolution.

・Document system workflows, configurations, and end-user guides.

◆ Cross-Functional Collaboration

・Work closely with cross-functional teams including Security Operations, Resorts Operations, PMOs, Product Owners, IT engineers, and vendors.

・Ensure local requirements for asset and security systems align with corporate standards.

・Support change management and training activities for system rollouts.

◆ Analysis & Optimization

・Analyze “as-is” Resorts Operations processes and system landscapes to identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and integration.

・Translate business processes into technical requirements for development and engineering teams.

・Support continuous system optimization and ensure alignment with HR compliance and best practices.

◆ Administrative & Other

・Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established USJ policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

・Perform other duties as assigned

Education

Bachelor’s degree required (Computer Science, Engineering, HR/Finance Technology, or related fields). Advanced degree preferred
