As a Merchandising Intern, you will support the Ready-to-Wear and Maison teams in their day-to-day activities. This role is open to beginner to intermediate level interns who are eager to gain hands-on experience in luxury merchandising, sales analysis, and cross-functional collaboration within an international fashion house.
You will work closely with the Merchandising team to assist with reporting, data preparation, market monitoring, and operational follow-ups. The scope and content of the role may evolve over time based on the candidate’s abilities, performance, and level of experience, allowing for progressive autonomy and increased responsibilities.

- Living in around Tokyo area or able to find Japanese residence *Our internship is onsite
Experience / Knowledge / Skills
- Able to start internship in Feb. 2026 and work at least 6 months
- Excel: Intermediate level (filters, pivot tables, lookups; ability to perform simple to intermediate data analysis).
- PowerPoint: ability to structure and update presentations
Language
- Fluent in English is required
- Japanese is a plus, but not mandatory

Ready-to-Wear & Maison Team Support (100%)
Sales & Reporting Support
- Prepare and support daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for Ready-to-Wear and Maison categories.
- Consolidate and analyze sales data using Excel, and support the preparation of PowerPoint materials for internal reporting.
- Track sales performance by category, product group, or boutique, and highlight key observations under team guidance.
- Maintain and update internal sales databases to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Merchandising & Stock Support
- Support to monitor inventory levels, deliveries, and sell-through data.
- Assist in weekly stock checks and preparation of stock rebalancing proposals.
Market & Competitor Monitoring
- Conduct market research on trends, competitors’ activities, and pricing in the luxury market.
- Perform competitor price checks.
- Contribute to collection feedback and future proposals by consolidating key insights from market trends, sell-through performance, and competitor benchmarking, under the guidance of the Merchandising team.
- Summarize key takeaways and support timely feedback shared with the central Business Unit.
Collection & Presentation Support
- Prepare and update collection presentations, including visuals, line-ups, and performance summaries, to be used for Product Seminars with boutiques and other internal occasions.
- Support image selection, formatting, and document organization for internal and HQ presentations.
- Ensure presentation materials are clear, structured, and aligned with brand standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams such as VM, Retail Training, and Supply Chain.
- Support data and material preparation for cross-functional projects.
Currently enrolled in University, Business School, Fashion, or related fields
