Summary

Christian Dior G.K. is looking for Merchandising Manager, Men's category (Ready to Wear or Leather goods).

We are seeking a passionate candidate to lead and further develop the Men’s category business in Japan. Someone who is proactive, creative and has a strong understanding of the Japanese market.

Key Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years relevant experience, preferably in retail industry
  • Good communication, interpersonal skills

    This position reports to Merchandising Director, Men's.

  • Responsible of Men's category buying in Paris for all stores
  • Identify growth opportunities within Men's categories with a 360 approach, collaborating with other functions such as Retail, VM and Marketing.
  • Investigate and input HQ local market needs and trends to reflect them on product development.
  • Strategic buying, build seasonal buying by taking in consideration of display and exposure, and managing local retail & marketing activities.
  • Selection of Japanese assortment in close cooperation with Paris merchandising team
  • Prepare and analyze necessary data for buying.
  • Responsible of the inventories and sell-through, follow-up operations such as daily/weekly re-assortment.
  • Weekly and monthly Reports
  • Manage the markdown at the end of the season.
  • Manage the Men's business together with the community in the stores.
  • Execute meaningful and impactful collection training for stores and other functions.
  • Coordinate, assist VM team as necessary for new shops and shops’ renewal.
