Christian Dior G.K. is looking for Retail Event Manager.

Goal of retail event manager is to develop an event strategy as part of the marketing plan aligned with overall objectives.

Key Qualifications

  • Proven experience in event planning and management, preferably within the luxury goods or services industry
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management abilities with an excellent sense of detail, and a creative mindset
  • A deep understanding of the luxury market and its target audience
  • Respect towards boutiques and business partners, customer-oriented mind
  • Fluent in both English and Japanese
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work cross-functionally and navigate quickly changing environments
  • Interest in fashion, food and beverage, hospitality

    This position reports to Marketing Senior Manager

    Strategy & Planning:
    Collaborating with retail, client development and merchandising team to develop an event strategy aligned with overall objectives. Identifying target audiences, setting event goals, and establishing key performance indicators (KPIs). It must reflect a brand image with sophistication

    Event Conceptualization & Design:
    Together with Paris HQ team, creating innovative event concepts that embody the brand's identity and resonate with the target audience. Modify the event guidelines to align with local cultural practices and fit the local context. Ensure that the core objectives of the event are still met

    Budget Management:
    Developing and managing event budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining the highest standards of quality

    Vendor & Partner Management:
    Sourcing, selecting, and managing a network of high-quality vendors, including caterers, decorators, entertainment providers. Building strong relationships with key partners to ensure seamless event execution

    Team Management:
    Leading and motivating not only an own team but also project members with vendors and partners, delegating tasks effectively, and providing guidance and support. Creating a collaborative and efficient work environment

    Post-Event Analysis:
    Evaluating event success based on pre-determined KPIs, gathering feedback from attendees and stakeholders, and generating reports to inform future event strategies. Analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and maximize ROI

    Logistics & Operations:
    Overseeing all logistical aspects of event planning and execution including post-event follow-up. Ensuring flawless execution and anticipating potential challenges
