Summary

An opportunity with USJ's Digital and Technology team is an experience like no other. In this role, you will be responsible for working with our business partners and product teams to understand the requirements that drive the technology solutions we will deploy and analyze key requirements needed. You will engage in the testing cycles of those solutions to align and drive that the design meets the original set of expectations. You are part of a global team that is consistently looking at ways to enhance the experience for guests, from planning their trip to their in park visit, to their post return while driving the best experience all around.

As part of the Digital and Technology team, you will work in a global and multinational team atmosphere, with team members that come to work with us, from various countries. You will engage with not only team members but with multinational vendors that support our destinations and experiences across the globe. So be prepared, as our primary language to operate in is English, daily; however, having other languages, like Japanese is a plus, for local communications.

After joining the company, you will gain a basic understanding of the latest technology for our theme parks and overall in park ride solutions. Not to worry, we will work with you to refine your business system analysis skills. Your role will be responsible for reporting to management both in Japan and within the US. Regardless of your length of service, you will be involved in operations with other parks around the world and will be able to grow significantly.

Key Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience managing the technical delivery of systems & software solutions.

• Experience in a large Information Technology or consulting organization with proven experience partnering with client groups in support of managing complex, multi-year and multi-location projects and programs.

• Experience leading application delivery teams & 3rd party vendor projects, strategic planning and resource management and implementation and delivery of large-scale applications, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Proven track record in technical staffing selection and management, reviewing & contributing to technical solutions.

Responsibility

• Responsible for facilitating and supporting all stages of the project life cycle from initiation, scoping, project staffing and project implementation and operation.

• Communicate estimates on labor time and cost, and meet schedules and timelines as agreed upon. Ensure time tracking for projects is tracked correctly and aligns with estimates and budgets.

• Work with architects and PMO teams to fulfill the delivery and coordination of projects, programs to ensure the timeline and quality towards client group’s expectations.

• Develop and maintain a positive relationship with client groups, project managers, and other IT team members, by employing effective communication skills and building strong working relationships.

• Assist with vendor selection and management including oversight of drafting SOW’s, RFP’s, vendor evaluation, budgeting, monitoring progress through to implementation.

• Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science or technology is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
