Your Impact:
As an Apple-Focused IT Consulting Engineer, you will be crucial in delivering high-quality IT services and strategic guidance. You will be fluent in the following 7 aspects for our clients.

a. Client IT Support & Maintenance:
Provide expert support and proactive maintenance for our organization's IT environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and uptime.

b. Execute Project Delivery:
Contribute to the planning, execution, and successful completion of IT projects, from infrastructure deployments to system migrations, adhering to best practices and company objectives.

c. Pioneer R&D:
Actively research, evaluate, and develop new services, techniques, and solutions to enhance our offerings and maintain our competitive edge in the Apple ecosystem.

d. Architect & Document:
Create comprehensive, high-quality documentation for system setups, processes, and solutions, ensuring clarity and efficiency for current and future team members.

e. Shape Standards:
Adhere to and actively contribute to the development of our internal IT standards and best practices, elevating the quality of our service delivery.

f. Continuous Professional Growth:
Commit to ongoing learning and skill enhancement, staying abreast of the latest advancements in Apple technologies and IT consulting methodologies.

g. Cultivate Trust:
Consistently deliver expert, reliable, and trustworthy service, building strong relationships.

Required Skills:
- You'll bring deep technical expertise, particularly within the Apple ecosystem.
- Extensive experience in advanced IT troubleshooting, Help Desk, and Systems Administration, with profound expertise in macOS and iOS.
- Proven ability to visually document complex system setups for efficient knowledge transfer and collaborative troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated experience in architecting and deploying sophisticated Mobile Device Management (MDM) Systems using Mosyle, Jamf, Addigy, and similar tools, adhering to Apple's latest best practices.
- Expertise in designing and implementing robust and secure Wi-Fi networks using technologies like Cisco Meraki, Ubiquiti, Extreme, Aruba, and similar enterprise-grade solutions.

- Prior experience as both an independent consultant and a contributing member of a high-performing IT team.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, influence stakeholders, and work collaboratively in a team and independently.
- A natural ability to actively listen, analyze complex problems, make sound decisions, and commit to continuous learning.
- Proven capability to coordinate and manage multiple, complex efforts simultaneously with a high degree of organization.
- Comfortable creating internal and public-facing video content highlighting security best practices, and building professional connections.
- A knack for creating easy-to-understand "how-to" documentation as a self-help resource for users.
- Familiarity with Agile work processes and project management methodologies.

Additional preferred technical skills that will give you a significant edge are:
- Ability to centrally manage, troubleshoot and recover macOS running on Apple Silicon chipsets.
- Familiarity with Windows 11 under Active Directory.
- Proficiency in scripting and command-line functions for automation and advanced diagnostics.
- Experience in architecting and configuring cloud email and document storage solutions using Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Dropbox, and similar enterprise tools.
- Adept at installing and setting up complex computer and network hardware.
- Strong understanding of managing and configuring internet connectivity and UTM (Unified Threat Management) appliances.

Your daily activities will blend technical expertise with client engagement and team collaboration. You will:
- Ensure IT environments receive expert-level service and proactive maintenance.
- Execute tasks with meticulous attention to detail, adhering to Sentree's high standards of quality.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate potential IT issues and risks.
- Embody a consulting mindset, providing expert advice and solutions.
- Conduct regular meetings, delivering comprehensive status reports and updates.
- Monitor services, prioritize critical needs, and recommend value-added solutions.
- Actively participate in the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) framework and utilize scorecards for performance tracking.
- Create and manage detailed internal and external project briefs.
- Maintain accurate administrative worksheets (checklists, time sheets, billable forecasts).
- Engage in daily stand-up meetings with your team for seamless collaboration.
- Conduct weekly check-ins with the Operations Manager to align on priorities and progress.
- Actively contribute to Weekly Level 10 Meetings, prepared to share insights and drive initiatives.

This role is for an experienced professional ready to show their leadership abilities.
- Over 3 years of dedicated IT consulting or systems administration experience, with a strong focus on Apple environments.
- Mid-Level professional, capable of independent work and collaborative contribution.
- Valid permission to work in Japan is required.

Effective communication is paramount in our collaborative environment. Bilingual ability is a priority:

English:
Professional level written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Japanese:
Business level verbal communication skills are required to interact effectively with local vendors and team members.

Ability to think on your feet, think critically and take action is necessary. No specific formal education level is required. However, please share if you are a graduate of post-secondary technical or vocational programs or have made any other personal investments into your learning that demonstrate a strong growth mindset.

Flexible system, primarily 8 AM - 5 PM on weekdays, with occasional project work on weekends as required.

6M to 9M yen per year on target earnings.
Full-time position for candidates with legal permission to work in Japan.

Weekends, Japanese public holidays, and vacation as per Japanese Labor Standards.
