We are currently looking for a Retail Design and Construction Specialist to oversee office, showroom and all stores across Japan from Ray Ban, Oakley, Oliver Peoples, Washin and Department Stores. You will be reponsible to manage all retail construction surrounding new store openings, remodelling and relocation of existing stores, office and showroom spaces.

- Strong understanding and knowledge in design and construction
- Coordination as a Project Manager (full circle)
- Results driven, proactive and action driven with proven ability in completing tight deadlines
- Highly self-motivated and energetic
- Impeccable communication skills

- Negotiations with landlords (site checks, negotiating the guidelines before confirming the store location)
- Drafting / rough layout proposal
- Direct communication along Milan corporate / Milan Nextore / Luxottica China
- Schedule management
- Bidding process management (Bidding document preparation)
- Cost management and budget negotiations
- Value Engineering plan proposal (Cost control to save overall cost)
- Weekly reporting of the project (from site commencement to completion)
- Support of the opening set-up
- Import management of furniture / LED
- Repair & Maintenance for existing store
- Managing construction as customer visibilty

- 5+ years of relevant working experience in Design & Construction, retail industry experience is preferred
- Experienced in design software (AutoCAD, Photoshop, Word, Excel, PPT)
- Retail industry experience is preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business; may require evening work and domestic business trips
- Fluent in Japanese and business level English is mandatory
