As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing and growing an existing portfolio of enterprise customer(s), while also identifying new growth opportunities within your assigned territory with manager’s support.
This position requires someone who can take ownership of existing accounts, maintain trusted customer relationships, and ensure business continuity, while gradually expanding and developing the territory.
It requires a high level of independence, ownership, and initiative, as sales professionalsat Colt are expected to proactively drive opportunities forward in a lean, fast-moving environment.
• Immediate responsibility for existing customers and ongoing business
• Significant autonomy in how you manage accounts and prioritize opportunities
• Ability to proactively raise your hand for customers or territories where you can add the most value
• Exposure to global deals leveraging Colt’s strong European and international footprint
• Rare opportunity to work for a foreign-owned company operating its own fiber network in Japan
• Broad solution portfolio spanning network, cloud connectivity, security and managed services
• Manage and further develop an existing portfolio of enterprise customers
• Drive new bookings and revenue in line with personal and company sales targets
• Own the full sales cycle, including:
Opportunity identification
Solution design and proposal creation
Pricing, negotiation, and contract closing
Post-sales customer engagement
Necessary support is provided with direct manager who can provide hands-on coaching in day-to-day job
• Work closely with Solution Engineers to design and propose solutions that address customers’ business and technical requirements
Must Have
• 3+ to 8+ of experience in B2B for Telecom/ any other IT related industries
• Experience managing existing customer relationships and complex sales cycles
• Ability to operate independently and proactively in an environment with limited hand-holding
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Nice to have
• Experience selling network, cloud, data center, or telecommunications services a plus
• Experience selling to enterprise customers (financial service experience is a plus)
• Business or intermediate level English proficiency is required

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customer executives and key stakeholders with the consult of Colt senior leadership and managers
• Develop and execute account and territory plans based on business priorities
• Maintain accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management in line with internal processes
• Collaborate with global teams, solution partners, and offshore resources as required
