About this role
Join our Automotive team as a Technical Architect / Consultant, shaping the future of mobility through embedded software architecture for Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs). You will lead the design and delivery of automotive ECU software platforms for a leading global OEM, establish development processes and CI/CD environments, and guide a team of 20–25 engineers. This role combines deep technical leadership with strategic consulting and project management, offering significant influence over next-generation automotive software platforms.
Required Qualifications
Experience in automotive embedded software development
Experience across the full software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, development, unit test, integration test, and system test
Expertise in the following areas:
- Languages: C, C++, Python
- OS / Middleware: Linux, QNX, AUTOSAR
- Controllers: Renesas R-Car, NXP S32G, RH850
- Toolchains: GCC, Multi, Vector DaVinci, EB tresos
- Communication Protocols: CAN/CAN-FD, SOME/IP, DoIP, DoCAN, MQTT, HTTP, DDS, IPC (MQ, Socket, Data Sharing)
- Tools: Docker, Git, JIRA, GTest, Polyspace, Cantata++, CANoe
Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese
・Develop automotive ECU software for RTOS or POSIX-based platforms using Model-Based Development or hand-coded implementations
・Establish development processes and platforms covering the complete embedded software lifecycle
・Build and maintain CI/CD-based software development workbenches
・Develop test frameworks, including ECU virtualization environments
・Lead and manage engineering teams of approximately 20–25 members
・Ensure compliance with automotive standards including AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, and ASPICE
・Prepare weekly and monthly project status reports covering progress, schedules, milestones, risks, and ongoing activities
・Manage project planning, execution, KPI monitoring, resource allocation, stakeholder communication, quality management, and coordination with offshore development teams in India

Annual Salary
Salary is determined based on individual experience and ability, in accordance with company policy (the original listing does not specify a fixed monthly base amount; compensation is negotiated individually).
Discretionary Labor Allowance (if applicable): ¥60,000–¥80,000/month (≈ ¥720,000–¥960,000/year), paid under the specialized-work discretionary labor system.
Salary Increases: Available, based on annual performance review.
Bonus: Provided, based on company and individual performance (specific amount not fixed; determined per company policy).
